When did you start playing golf? 12 years of age
How long have you worked at Copper Point: First season as the Head Teaching Professional at the Academy
Favorite hole on The Point and why: #13 – my first impression was a dislike of this golf hole. After many rounds played the necessity to pin point a very good accurate tee shot as close to the slope as possible in order to have the least yardage in as possible. The approach demands a solidly struck mid-long iron or even hybrid pending your tee shot… Accuracy is a must depending on pin placement and making a putt from anywhere on the green is difficult. Walk away with par and your never unhappy.
Favorite hole on The Ridge and why: #2 – a wide open often down wind tee shot helps you usually get quite close to the green. If you execute the tee shot properly its a short chip/pitch onto the green and hopefully a make able early round birdie to get your score going.
Favorite lunch item at The View: A ceaser……. Don’t know the menu lol. How about a steak sandwich.
Volunteerism & Special Interests: Just my personal charity event I used to run at windy. Last year we gave several thousand dollars to verge for youth. The year prior I gave it to local kids in Nicaragua to help them through school. I chose local last year instead as I felt its nice to make an impact with the community we all hold so close. I’d like to continue to hold this even and will talk further about moving the venue to the ridge. Special interest are travel, learning, trying new things, people, every and all activity.
